Colorado City is in the Historic Greenhorn Valley, nestled against the 1,237,920 acre San Isabel National Forest, at the foot of the wet mountains is Colorado's Southern Rockies. Unobstructed views of Greenhorn Mountains, Pike's Peak and the Spanish Peaks. The most beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer.

Terrain: The land lies on the floor of a large mountain valley with most of the land being level or gently sloping. This is prime open grassland in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Rabbit bush and mix of prairie grasses.

HOA: There are no Homeowner Association (HOA) fees.

GOLF: 18 holes in the shadow of Greenhorn Mountain - Holly dot Golf Club.

ELECTRICITY: The Isabel Electric Company provides power to outlying areas. It is the responsibility of the property owner to obtain his/her own extensions depending upon their location. It is also possible and may be desirable to install a privately owned generator.

TAXES: Taxes and other government charges are approximately $50 annually. The payment of taxes is the property owner's responsibility. CLIMATE: Very mild climate with moderate temperatures throughout its four seasons. The average daily high is 68 degrees with an average daily low of 37. It's moderate temperatures do not allow snow to stay on the ground for long. Average snowfall 31 ".

RECREATION: Colorado is an outdoor paradise for sportsmen and vacationers, presenting a panorama of recreation opportunities. White water rafting, skiing, rock climbing, hunting.

POPULATION: There are 2000 residents in Colorado City and 5000 in the Greenhorn Valley area.

MEDICAL: Colorado City has established health care as a priority.
